Charles Dickens (Landsport, Hampshire, 7 de febrer de 1812 — Gadshill, Kent, 9 de juny de 1870) fou un escriptor anglès, autor d'Oliver Twist, Cançó de nadal i Temps difícils, entre altres obres.
