Ursula K. Le Guin (Berkeley, 21 d'octubre de 1929 - Portland, 22 de gener de 2018), nom de ploma d'Ursula Kroeber Le Guin, fou una escriptora estatunidenca de ciència-ficció i fantasia, però també de poesia, llibres infantils i assajos.

Atribuïdes
[modifica | modifica el codi]- «Un adult creatiu és un infant que ha sobreviscut.»[4](en anglès) The creative adult is a child who has survived.La frase deriva d'un assaig d'Ursula K Le Guin, "Why Are Americans Afraid of Dragons?", publicat a PNLA Quarterly el 1974, on defensa la imaginació en la narrativa i el paper dels bibliotecaris infantils. La frase concreta és "They believe that maturity is not an outgrowing, but a growing up; that an adult is not a dead child, but a child who survived." En una publicació en el seu blog personal (https://www.ursulakleguin.com/blog/106-a-child-who-survived), Le Guin desmentia aquesta atribució i comentava la dificultat d'evitar propagar informació falsa a la xarxa.
